Livelihoods are the means people use to earn a living, including the skills, assets, income, and activities that people need to meet their basic needs. The thread Foundation works closely with the public and private sectors to create inclusive and sustainable livelihoods for individuals, families, and communities across India. Our livelihood program targets smallholder farmers, entrepreneurs, white-collar workers, and domestic workers from poor and marginalized communities, providing them with knowledge and improving access to resources, services, technology, and opportunities.
